baby hats

Get on the leading-edge of avant garde fashion and wear what all the best-dressed are sporting in Paris this season - the baby hat. I am wearing The Aiden with its unique face-pumelling feature, and Paul is donning The Kate, and as you can tell, he is pleasantly surprised by the ease of which its inbuilt earmuffs slide down.

happy mama

mae's entry:
I can still fit into my wedding gown!!! Woo hoo! I decided to try on my wedding gown on whim tonight (as most young mothers do, naturally, after their baby has fallen asleep and they're looking for something non-baby oriented to do. This is why dishes don't get done.) As you can tell, my post-natal tummy hasn't quite gone down completely, but hey, I'm not complaining. I fit!!

It's been almost 2 years since I've worn the dress (or even seen it) and when I last did, having a baby was definitely the last thing on my mind. The gown definitely brought back beautiful memories, and up until that day, the wedding was the Happiest Day of My Life. But that day has found company - the dayI discovered I was expecting (26th Dec 04) and Aiden's birth (30th Aug 05). And I'm sure more happy days are to come (I believe the next will be the Day We Go On Our 1st Holiday Since Aiden's Birth - 7th Mar 06).

solids

Aiden has just started on solids - a little rice cereal mixed with milk. So far, so good.

gong xi fa cai

Aiden's first Lunar New Year, and seems to be getting into the festive spirit. In this season where Feng Shui is important, we're glad that Aiden has brought in both Feng (wind) and Shui (water) into our home, on the floor and sofa in abundance.

It's really exciting that it's our first Chinese New Year as a family, and the first of many new traditions (presumably starting with eating Ang Pows).
