say aah...

Here's Aiden exploring the many ways to say aaaahhh. Sometimes he can construct a 12-syllable word entirely comprised of "a". He was in fine form tonight, and very chatty to his dad.

I think it is every parents responsibility to take silly photos of their kids. I'm not sure what we were thinking, but I know we were giggling too hard to take a decent photo.

For some unknown reason today, Aiden showed off an Atlas pose. Maybe it's a variation of the fencing reflex

As a side-note, Aiden has accidentally said a couple of words, although most of his speech is still in Klingon.
Words so far:

1. Yahoo! (a good first word, especially because they are our client).
2. Bilbao (we think because he wants us to take him to the Guggenheim museum there).

We'll keep you posted on any new words.

Aiden has learnt a new trick - he has worked out that he has (some) control over his hands - or to be precise: his right hand.

With almost superhuman concentration, he can raise it slowly from hip level until it reaches his head. It is great to see his determination as he struggles to control his wobbly limb and the satisfaction when it reaches its destination is accompanied by his throwing the limb away again, for the whole process to begin again.
